16th January 1999,
Cape Wrath Scotland

A place where Europe starts or ends.  It also happened to be the end of a shoot that had started in Sarajevo and been going on since 1995 on the digital feature Victim of Geography. It was also my 40th birthday.  The Footage  has very rarely been seen and was  shot with my old S8mm camera – that died shortly afterwards.  It shows Shaman/Wanderer and Psycho-Geographer Marshall Anderson burning the remains of a wild goose he’d found on a beach.  We’d walked to the point where Europe runs out and had spent most of the trip watching and filming the RAF practising their bombing runs for wars we’ve all been a part of ever since.
